Le Panneau jaune tireté was created as part of a series of experimental mixed media works as panels and vessels that deal with loss, disillusion, and recovery. This work in particular addresses the overwhelming and nauseous feeling of separation, yet retains a sense of hope as these not-quite-right blue phalanges begin to reach, rather grow out of la terre.
