Du Bassin Sauvage
It’s such a beautiful day out on the calm waters of Lake Peigneur. The chilled air tickles as it passes over flesh and fiber. The knotty manta rays (Les raies manta noeuses) glide through the water. A Green Guedry mimics them while another enjoys the view of the once shallow lake.
"How wonderful! The sound of a tug boat horn!"
"Non, cher…..those are muffled wails from beneath them murky depths."
Une magnifique journée sur les eaux calmes du Lac Peigneur. L’air frais chatouille en passant la peau et la fibre. Les raies manta noeuses fendent l’eau en glissant. Un Guédry vert les imite tandis qu’un autre admire la vue sur ce lac autrefois peu profond.
"Quel bonheur, le klaxon d’un remorqueur se fait entendre!"
"Non, mon cher… ça, c’est les gémissements étouffés qui viennent des profondeurs obscures."
